Jewish Federation of San Antonio (4+ years)

President & CEO (San Antonio, TX)

Responsible for driving organizational success and empowering high performing staff. Led the Jewish community through the COVID pandemic, supporting local Jewish organizations and synagogues to ensure the least impact due to associated restrictions and financial burdens. Responded to global crises with exceptional fundraising success, raising over $3.5M for critical post-10/7 needs in Israel. Exhibit inspirational and passionate leadership, including sophisticated management abilities to advance the Federation’s culture, capability, processes, and impact.

Brooks Academies of TX

MIZ (Math Innovation Zones) District Project Manager (San Antonio, TX)

Authored and secured Texas department of education (TEA) MIZ grant. Responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the MIZ initiative. This project supports the district in designing and implementing a high-quality blended learning program in math with a robust technical assistance network comprised of experts in blended learning implementation.

Director of District Development (San Antonio, TX)

Assisted the four Brooks Academies of TX schools in recruitment and retention, including branding and marketing initiatives. Sought potential expansion locations and business development opportunities. Represented the superintendent at community events, chamber meetings, city-wide committees, and participated in statewide planning commissions.

Founding Principal, Brooks Collegiate Academy (San Antonio, TX)

Led the recruitment and enrollment, implementation of policies and procedures, and execution of an inaugural PreK-High School campus. Coordinated the on-boarding of 100 faculty and staff creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing, and "commitment to excellence" college-preparatory culture. Established the first district Early College High School (ECHS) in partnership with the local community college to offer graduating students the opportunity to graduate high school simultaneously earning an Associate of Art’s degree.

Arthur I. Meyer Academy

Head of School (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

Received Department of Education (DOE) National Blue Ribbon School 2013 status for High Achieving Schools. Led the curriculum design and implementation team in becoming an International Baccalaureate® (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) campus. Led the school through two reaccreditations and relocation from a shared community campus site to a new construction 70,000 square foot facility 10 miles north. Secured campus naming gifts and completed project on schedule and within budget. Sat on FCIS board during this tenure. (6 years)

Jess Schwartz Day School (Formerly The King David Community Day School)

Head of School (Scottsdale, AZ)

Led the day to day school operations of supervising the faculty and overseeing the business office. Co-facilitated the merger of two independent schools (K-8 King David with 9-12 Jess Schwartz). Worked with two boards to develop new institutional policies and procedures, cultures, mission and visions, in order to brand the new school. (2 years)

Jerome Lippman Community Day School

Head of School (Akron, OH)

Grew the school through a community-wide recruitment effort in parallel with a financial model (The Millennium Fund) that was used as a template for other similar-sized communities to replicate. While fulfilling the duties of Head of School was also tasked with leading the Community Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE), which provided professional development services for community agencies, a Hebrew high school experience for the community teens, and supplemental programming for adults, families, and youth education. (5 years)
